Your kids will cook their own nutritious dinner using a new Brood recipe each week, including: Rainbow Sushi, Hand Rolled Pasta, Fish Tacos, Homemade Dumplings. They take the recipe home so you can recreate it with them.

Our older group will also be exploring well-known chefs and their recipes, as well as advancing to use sharp knives and hot pans. They’ll be challenged to read the recipes on their own and come up with their own plan of attack. Yes chef!

Transport: There will be a pick up from Telferscot School. We are hoping to pick up from Henry Cavendish Balham both days in the Autumn, please message us to check. Otherwise it will be a drop off at Brood Family Studio.

My 5 year old has been coming to the weekly craft and cooking club and has absolutely loved it. His confidence in himself has grown considerably over the past 6 weeks and I really credit this to the nurturing environment that Amelia creates. He now loves to help me in the kitchen and show me his cooking skills. He can't wait for next term!

It is actually incredible what they get up to in the couple of hours that they are there - and the whole idea of preparing then cooking their own dinner is an amazing way of encouraging them to taste new things! My only complaint is that Amelia doesn’t offer adult Brood sessions too! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Our sell-out Creative Camp is back!

Brood offers hands-on creative days filled with cooking, crafts, drama games and nature, all led by exceptional, highly qualified teachers. We keep our groups small and nurturing, with a higher staff-to-child ratio than most at 1:6 and a maximum of 22 children per day.

Our camp takes place in a beautiful family home, complete with a garden full of nature, creativity and fun, including the much-loved fish and wildlife ponds!

We get kids to make their own nutritious lunch using high-quality ingredients (included in the price). We will explore flavours and cultures from around the world using Brood's own original recipes, tried and tested on lots of little ones.

My children love Brood. They’ve been coming since the younger was 4 and the elder was 7 (now 5 and 8). It’s such a homey, cosy environment and they love the activities and making their own lunch. They can both be fussy about food in different ways and I find that for the most part they really enjoy the lunch and eat a really good amount. And I love not having to make it!

My little one aged 5 attended 3 days of summer creative camp and had a wonderful time. He enjoyed the different activities each day, beaming with pride at what he had crafted or created!  He even told me he had seconds of the yummy lunch that he helped to make  - which is a major success, as he’s particular about what he will and won’t eat. This small  and friendly setting enabled him to stretch out of his comfort zone a little. Would absolutely recommend to others.

This club pulls together the best of Brood crafts and creative activities that we have to offer! 

Come and make pottery, collages, soaps and bath bombs, shell trinket dishes, nature crafts, mono printing and textiles.

We'll explore exciting skills and processes to build confidence and creativity as they take home beautiful handmade projects.

Crafts & Creations is taught in a cosy, nurturing studio with small groups and exceptional teachers. 

The teachers: Emily, artist & illustrator, plus SEND-trained educator, and Amelia, Brood owner who has taught art & set design for 10 years.

Led by Poppy, Brood's expert art teacher. She trained in art, design, fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins & Falmouth and has spent a decade teaching art for all ages, all the way up to university level. 

We'll explore exciting materials like clay, papier-mâché, charcoals, and a variety of paints, discovering different techniques and artists along the way. 

Artworks & Masterpieces is a space where your child can explore and get creative, as well as build skills and techniques to become a confident budding young artist. 

Develop artistic skills and techniques while exploring artists, styles and media through ambitious, hands-on projects.

We combine music, movement and sensory with original creative play: rainbow spaghetti, nature crafts, ice play, even baking classes! We often make things to take home, like clay footprints, music shakers, fabric printed t-shirts, or artworks. Sessions focus on the development of early language, social and emotional skills.

*Termly - £16 per class / Drop ins - £17 per class*

Amelia's classes are simply amazing. There is a lot of variety in the activities done during each class and it's very well thought through and structured and keeps babies interested (which is no easy feat!). I love that each class is themed and tends to be related to the season (with the studio being decorated accordingly). Lovely touch also in offering mums a cup of tea or coffee at the end of the class. This is such a feel good class for both mum and baby!

I love the family atmosphere, the keepsakes and the idea of having a chat with other mums over a drink. The reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 is  due to the venue and that during last session, I felt the activity was not age appropriate, I refer to the Easter bonnet. My baby is 8 months old so I felt that activity wasn’t age appropriate because he’s too young. The venue I believe must be so much better in summer but in winter it is a little cold, particularly if sitting near to the door and a bit too small. Rather than this I really enjoyed being part of the brood studio family!

I've been attending Brood classes since my little one was 3 weeks old (starting with baby massage and moving on to sensory). The setting for the classes is just so perfect. It's not just a class. It's an opportinity to socialise over a hot drink (made by the teacher) and make mum friends. The classes are very enjoyable. I'll be sad when I'm back at work and not able to attend these classes anymore. I'd recommend Brood classes anytime.
