Your kids will cook their own nutritious dinner using a new Brood recipe each week, including: Rainbow Sushi, Hand Rolled Pasta, Fish Tacos, Homemade Dumplings. They take the recipe home so you can recreate it with them.

Our older group will also be exploring well-known chefs and their recipes, as well as advancing to use sharp knives and hot pans. They’ll be challenged to read the recipes on their own and come up with their own plan of attack. Yes chef!

When the oven is on and we’re getting hungry we often fill our time with some crafts: from sketching, to pottery, to bracelet making and painting.

\*Transport: There will be a pick up from Telferscot School on Thursdays, and Telferscot and Henry Cavendish on Tuesdays. Otherwise it will be a drop off at Brood Family Studio. \*

My 5 year old has been coming to the weekly craft and cooking club and has absolutely loved it. His confidence in himself has grown considerably over the past 6 weeks and I really credit this to the nurturing environment that Amelia creates. He now loves to help me in the kitchen and show me his cooking skills. He can't wait for next term!

Our 5 year absolutely LOVES this Tuesdays at Brood, and is very much the highlight of his week. It is actually incredible what they get up to in the couple of hours that they are there - and the whole idea of preparing then cooking their own dinner is an amazing way of encouraging them to taste new things! My only complaint is that Amelia doesn’t offer adult Brood sessions too! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Taught by a professional dancer and qualified dance teacher. Your children will explore dance from around the world, learning routines and steps which we'll perform in an end of term show!

As well as the practical dance class, we'll be learning about culture and history as we travel the globe through dance.

- When Strictly hits the screens, it's Ballroom of course!
- We'll explore the origins of Jazz and Afrobeats in Black History month.
- Bollywood for Diwali, and lots more!

A brand new club! 

Led by Poppy, Brood's new expert art teacher. She trained in art, design, fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins & Falmouth and has spent a decade teaching art for all ages, all the way up to university level. 

We'll explore exciting materials like clay, papier-mâché, charcoals, and a variety of paints, discovering different techniques along the way. 

Artworks & Masterpieces is a space where your child can explore and get creative, as well as build skills and techniques to become a confident budding young artist.

We combine baby sensory with original creative play: rainbow spaghetti, nature crafts, ice play, even your baby's first cooking class! We often make things to take home, like clay footprints, sensory shakers, ribbon teethers, or personalised babygros. Sessions focus on massage, sensory, music and the development of early language, social and emotional skills.

Amelia's classes are simply amazing. There is a lot of variety in the activities done during each class and it's very well thought through and structured and keeps babies interested (which is no easy feat!). I love that each class is themed and tends to be related to the season (with the studio being decorated accordingly). Lovely touch also in offering mums a cup of tea or coffee at the end of the class. This is such a feel good class for both mum and baby!

I love the family atmosphere, the keepsakes and the idea of having a chat with other mums over a drink. The reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 is  due to the venue and that during last session, I felt the activity was not age appropriate, I refer to the Easter bonnet. My baby is 8 months old so I felt that activity wasn’t age appropriate because he’s too young. The venue I believe must be so much better in summer but in winter it is a little cold, particularly if sitting near to the door and a bit too small. Rather than this I really enjoyed being part of the brood studio family!

I've been attending Brood classes since my little one was 3 weeks old (starting with baby massage and moving on to sensory). The setting for the classes is just so perfect. It's not just a class. It's an opportinity to socialise over a hot drink (made by the teacher) and make mum friends. The classes are very enjoyable. I'll be sad when I'm back at work and not able to attend these classes anymore. I'd recommend Brood classes anytime.

Our sell-out Creative Camp is back!

Brood provides high-quality creative activities led by exceptional, highly qualified teachers. Our staff/child ratio is higher than most at 1:6, with a maximum of 22 children per day.

Our nurturing space is at a family home, with a garden full of nature and fun, including the much loved fish ponds!

We'll do: Daily Cooking Class, Pottery, Arts & Crafts, Baking, Dance, Drama & Circus Workshops.

Our daily cooking class is a highlight! We get kids to make their own nutritious lunch with high quality ingredients (included in the price).

We'll explore flavours and cultures from around the world, with Brood's own original recipes, tried and tested on lots of little ones. We'll try Baja Fish Tacos, Turkish Kofte & Homemade Flatbreads, Smashing Smash Burgers, Superhero Bean Chilli and much more.
