We'll be crafting artistic treasures to take home, as well as exploring performing arts with our Brood teachers - professional dancers, actors and singers.

I am really impressed by how sophisticated and varied the recipes are, while being child friendly.  We also love crafts done at the club, Amelia and her team are extremely resourceful, I highly recommend Brood!

My son can often get a little overwhelmed joining holiday camps but the Brood team were quick to welcome him in , entertain and reassure him. We combine music, movement and sensory with original creative play: rainbow spaghetti, nature crafts, ice play, even baking classes! We often make things to take home, like clay footprints, music shakers, fabric printed t-shirts, or artworks. Sessions focus on the development of early language, social and emotional skills.

Amelia's classes are simply amazing. There is a lot of variety in the activities done during each class and it's very well thought through and structured and keeps babies interested (which is no easy feat!). I love that each class is themed and tends to be related to the season (with the studio being decorated accordingly). Lovely touch also in offering mums a cup of tea or coffee at the end of the class. This is such a feel good class for both mum and baby!

I love the family atmosphere, the keepsakes and the idea of having a chat with other mums over a drink. The reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 is  due to the venue and that during last session, I felt the activity was not age appropriate, I refer to the Easter bonnet. My baby is 8 months old so I felt that activity wasn’t age appropriate because he’s too young. The venue I believe must be so much better in summer but in winter it is a little cold, particularly if sitting near to the door and a bit too small. Rather than this I really enjoyed being part of the brood studio family!

I've been attending Brood classes since my little one was 3 weeks old (starting with baby massage and moving on to sensory). The setting for the classes is just so perfect. It's not just a class. It's an opportinity to socialise over a hot drink (made by the teacher) and make mum friends. The classes are very enjoyable. I'll be sad when I'm back at work and not able to attend these classes anymore. I'd recommend Brood classes anytime.

My son (10 months) and I enjoy coming to Brood which is a cosy, friendly and creative space doing things you would not necessarily do at home (either because of mess, resources or time/energy!) We love coming with our other baby friends and seeing them also develop, explore, learn and socialise with each other which builds week on week. The tea is great too 😍

I was disappointed with the sessions I must say. The content never filled the full 60 minutes, it was often around 25 minutes of song/activity. The facilitator reads the session off of a piece of paper which feels clunky and inexperienced. The environment was often very cold but the rule is there aren’t allowed to be any heaters on during the sessions - baby we’re often cold.

Your kids will cook their own nutritious dinner using a new Brood recipe each week, including: Rainbow Sushi, Hand Rolled Pasta, Fish Tacos, Homemade Dumplings. They take the recipe home so you can recreate it with them.

Our older group will also be exploring well-known chefs and their recipes, as well as advancing to use sharp knives and hot pans. They’ll be challenged to read the recipes on their own and come up with their own plan of attack. Yes chef!

When the oven is on and we’re getting hungry we often fill our time with some crafts: from sketching, to pottery, to bracelet making and painting.

\*Transport: There will be a pick up from Telferscot School on Thursdays, and Telferscot and Henry Cavendish on Tuesdays. Otherwise it will be a drop off at Brood Family Studio. \*

His confidence in himself has grown considerably over the past 6 weeks and I really credit this to the nurturing environment that Amelia creates. He now loves to help me in the kitchen and show me his cooking skills. He can't wait for next term!

It is actually incredible what they get up to in the couple of hours that they are there - and the whole idea of preparing then cooking their own dinner is an amazing way of encouraging them to taste new things! Led by Poppy, Brood's new expert art teacher. She trained in art, design, fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins & Falmouth and has spent a decade teaching art for all ages, all the way up to university level. 

We'll explore exciting materials like clay, papier-mâché, charcoals, and a variety of paints, discovering different techniques along the way. 

Artworks & Masterpieces is a space where your child can explore and get creative, as well as build skills and techniques to become a confident budding young artist.

Your toddler will whip up nutritious recipes such as: Turkish Kofta with Homemade Flatbreads, Rainbow Sushi, Indian Street Food and much more.

Our Montessori-inspired cooking classes teach them so much, from skills, to lifelong food habits, to creativity and independence.

Sessions include Discovery Time, cooking class, free-play (and free coffee for you), plus kids’ lunch. Morning activity plus meal sorted. You’re welcome!
