A day of Brood-filled fun, including cooking, crafts and movement. 

PLEASE PROVIDE SNACKS.

We'll be crafting artistic treasures to take home, as well as exploring performing arts with our Brood teachers - professional dancers, actors and singers.

This will now take place at St Thomas with St Stephens Church, Balham.

My son is usually really apprehensive about clubs, but he loves Brood - it’s a real home from home environment, and he gets such a kick out of cooking his own dinner, trying dishes I’d never get him to eat at home! My daughter absolutely loves Brood. She used to be very reluctant to try new foods, yet after attending the after school cooking club she became much more adventurous in what she chooses to eat. I am really impressed by how sophisticated and varied the recipes are, while being child friendly.  We also love crafts done at the club, Amelia and her team are extremely resourceful, I highly recommend Brood!

We love the Brood holiday camps and the inset day was no exception. My son can often get a little overwhelmed joining holiday camps but the Brood team were quick to welcome him in , entertain and reassure him. At the end of the day, he came out with a bag full of crafts and a huge smile. He had a wonderful day painting, making a pencil case and playing games. We will definitely be back again.

Learn to perform! Gymnastics & Acro Physical Theatre, Clowning & Magic Circus props - Stilts, beam, spinning plates & more!

Sessions are physical: you'll build strength and new skills & tricks. Build confidence as you learn to perform - plus end of term show!

Session format:

- Brood staff pick kids up from Telferscot (or parents drop kids at venue between 3.50-4.10pm)

A brand new club! 

Led by Poppy, Brood's new expert art teacher. She trained in art, design, fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins & Falmouth and has spent a decade teaching art for all ages, all the way up to university level. 

We'll explore exciting materials like clay, papier-mâché, charcoals, and a variety of paints, discovering different techniques along the way. 

Artworks & Masterpieces is a space where your child can explore and get creative, as well as build skills and techniques to become a confident budding young artist.

We combine baby sensory with original creative play: rainbow spaghetti, nature crafts, ice play, even your baby's first cooking class! We often make things to take home, like clay footprints, sensory shakers, ribbon teethers, or personalised babygros. Sessions focus on massage, sensory, music and the development of early language, social and emotional skills. 

*Termly - £15 per class / Drop ins - £16 per class*

Amelia's classes are simply amazing. There is a lot of variety in the activities done during each class and it's very well thought through and structured and keeps babies interested (which is no easy feat!). I love that each class is themed and tends to be related to the season (with the studio being decorated accordingly). Lovely touch also in offering mums a cup of tea or coffee at the end of the class. This is such a feel good class for both mum and baby!

I love the family atmosphere, the keepsakes and the idea of having a chat with other mums over a drink. The reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 is  due to the venue and that during last session, I felt the activity was not age appropriate, I refer to the Easter bonnet. My baby is 8 months old so I felt that activity wasn’t age appropriate because he’s too young. The venue I believe must be so much better in summer but in winter it is a little cold, particularly if sitting near to the door and a bit too small. Rather than this I really enjoyed being part of the brood studio family!

We've really loved attending Georgia's classes, my little girl loves exploring the play stations and making friends with the other babies attending each session. Every class feels different and original and I enjoy interacting with the parents (particularly over a coffee at the end)

I've been attending Brood classes since my little one was 3 weeks old (starting with baby massage and moving on to sensory). The setting for the classes is just so perfect. It's not just a class. It's an opportinity to socialise over a hot drink (made by the teacher) and make mum friends. The classes are very enjoyable. I'll be sad when I'm back at work and not able to attend these classes anymore. I'd recommend Brood classes anytime.

Our sell-out Creative Camp is back!

Brood provides high-quality creative activities led by exceptional, highly qualified teachers. Our staff/child ratio is higher than most at 1:6, with a maximum of 22 children per day.

Our nurturing space is at a family home, with a garden full of nature and fun, including the much loved fish ponds!

We'll do: Daily Cooking Class, Pottery, Arts & Crafts, Baking, Dance, Drama & Circus Workshops.

Our daily cooking class is a highlight! We get kids to make their own nutritious lunch with high quality ingredients (included in the price).

We'll explore flavours and cultures from around the world, with Brood's own original recipes, tried and tested on lots of little ones. We'll try Baja Fish Tacos, Turkish Kofte & Homemade Flatbreads, Smashing Smash Burgers, Superhero Bean Chilli and much more.

My children love Brood. They’ve been coming since the younger was 4 and the elder was 7 (now 5 and 8). It’s such a homey, cosy environment and they love the activities and making their own lunch. They can both be fussy about food in different ways and I find that for the most part they really enjoy the lunch and eat a really good amount. And I love not having to make it!

This small  and friendly setting enabled him to stretch out of his comfort zone a little. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Our Montessori-inspired cooking classes teach them so much, from skills, to lifelong food habits, to creativity and independence.
